OSLC is a Charter Organization for Boy Scouts. We provide a place for Cub Scout packs and Boy Scout troops to meet in our church building. Several of our members participate in scouts.
Several of our congregation members participate in Girl Scouts. We value them in our community. We also provide a place for Girl Scout troops to meet in our church building.
Stanley-Boyd Area Food Pantry
The first Thursday of the month is our community food pantry, which is located at OSLC. We partner with Feed My People.
Red Cross Blood Drive
Our church partners with Red Cross, as many members volunteer during the bimonthly blood drives. We encourage members to give blood all year.
SCA (Stanley Community Association)
SCA meets monthly at OSLC to plan out community events and fundraisers to make the city of Stanley even better.
Stanley-Boyd School District
Each summer, our congregation holds a school supply drive to collect school supplies for students. We also work with the school to buy Christmas presents for families in need of assistance. Our church partners with the school in other ways.
Veterans Housing & Recover Program
We annually hold a clothing and supply drive for Veterans who are in this program. This is typically done in January or February of each year.
WIC (Women, Infants, Children)
WIC is a county program that offers a variety of services to families. WIC meets monthly on the third Thursday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Stanley.
JONAH works with people, agencies, and organizations to help make our communities healthier, safer, and better places for everyone to live and work. JONAH builds community and addresses root causes of poverty and injustice.
Red Hats is a community social women's group that meets monthly at OSLC. They bring positivity to our community.
